ROW
Holographic Sound-and-Light Installation by TUNDRA
The ROW installation, interacting with space, interprets the possibility of visualizing these signals using LED fans installed in a row, which rotate to create a holographic effect of structures floating in the air, and which are controlled by generative algorithms.

The modern urban environment is permeated with electromagnetic waves that are imperceptible to the human eye. Rows of data floating in the air, transforming into symbols, words, and sentences, which, in turn, try to translate our speech, our thoughts, and feelings.

SPACE
Light-proofed and preferably sound-proofed, blacked-out space.

Row is a scalable installation with possible various lengths, however it is pre-ferable to consider a dedicated and isolated space with possibility of black-out. LIGHT BLOCK panel/door or preferably heavy curtains should be placed in the entrance and exit zones to avoid external light and sound pollution.

1.5m each side for safety barriers, 65cm in between stands. Standard edition of 10 led fans is a rectangle 7.5m x 3m. The cables go to FOH which can be located in a separate room

Tundra is a collective of new media artists exploring the facets of human perception of new sound and visual images in the context of spatial dialogue.

TUNDRA's artistic practices include a/v performances, sound&light installations, generative art, multimedia avant-garde experimentations, and NFTs. In the conceptual core behind the works, there is an idea of searching for a balance between chaos and order that is represented through the mixing of technology and nature and expressing the inexpressible through new forms of art.

The artworks have been exhibited at museums, galleries and festivals of multi-media art in America, Great Britain, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
